In line with guidelines and to minimise the spread of COVID-19 we are committed to consistent communication with our workforce and team. Hygiene methods, social distancing and reporting any symptoms are continuously reminded within the Snowik team as a tool to assist us all in the fight against COVID-19.
COVID-19 Response
SNOWIK are committed to the following to safeguard our personnel and safeguard our customers and the environment.
- To work as per government guidelines construction industry is classified as essential workers.
- Prioritising essential works as per government guidelines.
- Continual COVID-19 risk assessment, questionnaires and shared information where applicable
- Cleaning, handwashing and hygiene procedures in line with government guidance.
- Assisting working from home where deemed suitable for distancing and for wellbeing.
- We have taken all reasonable steps to maintain social distance at the workplace.
- Practical and necessary steps to manage transmission risk, including lateral testing.
Guidelines for clients & Customers
We would request open communication from customers to inform us regarding circumstances of quarantine/isolation where applicable. We kindly ask those whom we will come into contact with on-site when booking a job or prior to arrival to inform us if anyone in the property is in isolation, has symptoms, or has been diagnosed with COVID-19 observing the stay at home rule.
PPE & Hygiene supplies
To safeguard our customers and the community our team are provided with bottles of hand sanitisers and are cleaning surfaces before and after work is carried out.
Our Engineers are equipped with complete personal protective equipment (PPE) to include face masks, gloves, antiviral wipes and visors in line with Government advice. Our Engineers are aware of disposing of used PPE Safely without causing further risk.
